Our Activities
Gram Samruddhi
Rural development is not charity; it’s an investment for the future. Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha is committed to Gram Samruddhi(rural welfare), emphasizing the 5J principles: Jal (water), Janta (people), Janwar (Animal), Jangal (forest), and Jameen (land). Our mission is to elevate rural socio-economic standards, improve healthcare, and enhance educational access. We empower women towards self-reliance and raise awareness, dedicated to simplifying rural life and fostering prosperity. Together, we’re cultivating a more promising tomorrow for rural communities.
Women Empowerment and Self-help Groups
Women empowerment is the driving force of a nation’s progress. At Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, we recognize the crucial role of self-help groups in rural development. Our focus is on nurturing self-dependency and self-reliance among rural underprivileged women. Through various training programs in fields like art, craft, bag making, tailoring, and more, we empower them with skills. We provide platforms for them to showcase their products and talents, ensuring they receive fair prices. We educate them about their rights, amplify their voices, and enable them to establish their own income sources, helping them stand tall in society.
Child Development
At Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, we are committed to nurturing the holistic development of children. We firmly believe that they are the bearers of our nation’s future and deserve access to all their basic rights during their formative years. Addressing issues like malnutrition, we work tirelessly to raise awareness among parents and provide the necessary support. Our primary focus remains on ensuring the education and health of underprivileged children. Moreover, we actively promote their mental and social development, encouraging their participation in sports and artistic talents, empowering them to thrive and contribute meaningfully to society.
Youth Development
In our mission at GSBS, we are deeply committed to youth development, recognizing their pivotal role in both rural and urban settings. Our efforts are dedicated to harnessing the potential of young individuals by offering a diverse range of programs and opportunities. We prioritize education, skill-building, and personal growth, equipping them with the tools necessary to thrive in today’s dynamic world. Through mentorship, vocational training, and access to resources, we empower them to excel and become responsible, engaged members of society. Our goal is to cultivate a new generation that contributes significantly to the progress of our nation.
River Rejuvenation and Watershed Development
Our passionate initiative in River Rejuvenation and Watershed Development fills us with pride. At Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, our efforts encompass deepening and widening rivers to restore their vitality. Notably, we’ve successfully undertaken a significant project on the Tilganga River. This endeavor reflects our commitment to preserving the environment, ensuring water sustainability, and enhancing the overall well-being of the communities we serve. It’s a testament to our dedication to making a lasting positive impact on the environment and the lives of those who depend on these vital water resources.
Agricultural Development
Agriculture in our nation serves as the backbone of the economy. We understand the paramount importance of agricultural development for our country’s holistic development. Our commitment extends to promoting sustainable and organic farming practices that not only meet market demand for safe crops but also preserve the environment. We provide extensive training to farmers in modern techniques and strategies, equipping them with the knowledge needed for successful, responsible farming. Educating them about the right seeds for their specific soil types ensures not just productivity but also the long-term health of their land and livelihoods
Distribution of Relief and Stationery
We also extend our support to flood and drought-affected areas of Maharashtra. In times of crisis, we have provided essential food items to the people in villages like Tambave, Bahe, and Kharatwadi, affected by the Krishna River floods. Understanding the obstacles faced by children in these areas, we also donate stationery and books to ensure that their education continues uninterrupted. Recognizing the health challenges that arise during such disasters, we distribute essential medicines, striving to alleviate the suffering and contribute to the well-being of the affected communities.
