Project Completed

Jeevan Dhara Drinking Water Scheme

The daily life challenges faced by the common people of Peth village was deeply resonated with our secretary, Mr. Prakash Patil. He embarked on his first project, focusing on providing clean drinking water from a public well along the banks of the Tilganga River. Remarkably, this project was accomplished solely through the active involvement of three wards of Wada and Nangare Galli in Durgwada at Peth, without any government funding. This success inspired other areas in Peth village, such as Shimpi Galli, Biroba Galli, Warke Wada, Mankeshwar Galli, to follow suit and implement similar initiatives through collective public engagement. His initial experience with a social project highlighted the significance of community participation for sustainable development.

Jal Saksharata Karyashala

Jal Saksharata Karyashala stands as a significant water-focused project at Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha. In 2017, our Secretary, Mr. Prakash Patil, was honored as ‘Jal Nayak’ at the Water Literacy Center Yashada in Pune. This initiative is dedicated to increasing awareness about water and its responsible usage. Through various programs and educational workshops, we aim to empower communities with knowledge about water conservation, sustainable practices, and the critical role water plays in our lives. Our commitment to water literacy is a step toward a more water-secure and environmentally conscious future.

Organic Mango Farming

Kesar Mango, with its immense market demand across India and beyond, has become a focal point of our agricultural development efforts. At Gramprakash Swarajya Bahuudeshiya Sanstha, in 2015 it was a vital project for us. We prioritize organic farming practices and provide comprehensive training to mango farmers. We emphasize that through organic mango farming, they can not only meet market demand but also achieve substantial profits. Our commitment to sustainable agriculture promotes both environmental well-being and economic prosperity for our farming communities.

Jalsevakanche Payabhut Prashikshan

In 2022, under the ‘Jalsevakanche Payabhut Prashikshan’ initiative, our President led training sessions as ‘Jalsevak’ to empower Jaldhut. Under this initiative, we have taken responsibility to educate women in rural villages. Our focus is to encourage self-help among village women, raising awareness about responsible water usage and conservation practices. These training programs aim to equip women with the knowledge and skills needed to become stewards of water resources in their communities. Through education and empowerment, we are fostering a culture of sustainable water management for a more water-secure future.
